• Someone's gone to a lot of trouble to make it look like the same phone which means your blog has a far wider readership.
• You should be grateful to your father. He went to a lot of trouble to get this bike.
• She went to a lot of trouble to prepare a surprise party for her friend.

 

 

make of sth  ~를 ~라고 이해하다, 생각하다, 받아들이다

• What the hell are we supposed to make of that?
• What do you make of new boss?
• Can you make anything of this report?
